Nintendo reveals Wii price

£119 in Japan
Friday, 26 May 2006, 08:39
GAMES console maker Nintendo has told a Japanese magazine that its Wii console will hit the streets in the land of the Rising Sun for 25,000 yen (£119).

According to www.videogamesblogger.com, if you compare that price with what Nintendo did to the DS Lite prices, and divide the figure by your shoe size, that will mean that the Wii will probably end up at about £150 in Blighty.

If you add in a second controller and a game it will probably end up at about £160. Either way, it will be as cheap as chips in comparison to Vole's XBox 360 and you could buy two for the cost of a single PS3. µ
