Female gamers kick Vegas boys' butts

A gaming clan called Psychotic Man Slayerz (get the acronym?) are here at CES to drum up awareness of their status as Xbox Live's premiere all-girl gaming clan. In fact, the INQ will be heading along to a party later tonight to take them on head to head, mano-a-girlo. We won't hold our breath for a victory.

The clan is supported by the chaps at Joystick Junkies in the UK, who are well-known for their line of geek clothing.

The growing popularity of gaming among women is illustrated by the increased exposure given to community sites such as Game Girlz. Major sponsorship is also heading their way, with the girls at clan Frag Dolls inking a major deal with Ubisoft.
