James Bond shags and frags with the next-gen

Casino Royale for Xbox 360 and PS3
Fri Dec 16 2005, 22:12
ACCORDING TO MI6.co.uk, Electronic Arts has started production on Casino Royale with Daniel Craig as 007.

They say, the game is going to dovetail with the release of the new Bond movie of the same name, coming out on November 17th, 2006. This third-person adventure/shooter will be playable on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but maybe not on the Revolution. Sorry, Nintendo. Her Majesty hates you.

Work started on the game months ago, with concept artwork and 3D modeling. But production might already have been knee-capped by a silenced Walther PPK. Current intelligence seems to indicate as much, although the reason for such a cancellation remains speculative. Some guess it might be new console headaches, or coordinating the plot and time table with a separate motion picture.

The whole rumor remains within the realm of possibility, since EA does, in fact, have a deal with MGM, granting them the rights to make all the James Bond video games until 2010. µ
