Sun offers Java sandwich course

You are what you eat

SUN'S MEGA GEEKFEST, JavaUK06 took place on Wednesday at the Brewery in London - it's a conference venue, not a real brewery. Sun's event saw the acne cream of UK geekdom gather for a day of, err, whatever it is they do all day.

Our man at the event reports that presentations such as 'Designing cool Java ME Applications for consumer and Enterprise Applications' and 'Threading and Garbage Collection' had the audience enthralled. But after an exciting day, attendees were obviously in need of refreshment.

Luckily, Sun has its finger on the pulse of what Java nerds like to eat and drink and instead of laying on a five course gourmet dinner which would only cause widespread confusion as to which knife and fork to use, chose instead to supply the geeks with their staple diet of big piles of sandwiches, crisps, fizzy drinks and chocolate. µ
