Thursday, 14 September 2006, 18:35
SOFTWARE and hardware firm Microsoft gave details about the specs of its Zune media player, but didn't give pricing or a release date.

"The digital music entertainment revolution is just beginning," sparkled a Mr J Allard, VP of design and development at Vole. Apple believes it's already happened.

Zune I will include a 30GB digital media player, a music service, built-in FM tuner and a three inch screen. The devices themselves will be available in exciting monochrome or in colourful, er, brown.

The devices will include wireless connections and each Zune comes with content from a number of tune vendors. There will also be accessories like cables, AC adapters, docking stations and the like.

It has pulled in a heap of third party manufacturers to make other accessories for Mr Zune.
