Fake iPod spotted by reader

Can you tell?
Fri Dec 02 2005, 08:31
ONE OF OUR READERS, David Jenkins, had keen enough eyes to spot a fake iPod in Istanbul. It takes a sharp eye to notice the subtle differences between a real iPod and a cunning fake. See if you can spot the clues.

OK, I am not kidding anyone, this one isn't even close. A teal iPod stencilled in what appears to be the Tahoma font on the front? Give me a break.

Fake-ipod

The real question is, and it will be a challenge to even our readers, what is it really? What did someone not quite cunningly stencil iPod onto before the magical transformation? Let me know. µ
