But does it tell the time?
Mon May 10 2004, 13:06
NHJ USA TODAY ANNOUNCED a wearable TV watch, which it is dubbing the V@mp VTV-101.

The device comes with a TFT LCD display screen, which is 280x220 pixels wide, and a built in TV tuner which enables the customer to watch (pun intended) channels VHF 1-12 and UHF 13-62. The stereo earphones that pack with the product function as an antenna.

Thanks to a Li-Ion rechargeable battery, the gadget can have up to 3 hours playback time.

Another feature of the VTV-101 is a PLL synthesizer tuner, which can be set to manual or automatic depending on the user's preference.

Also included will be a neck strap, so the wearer can have it on their wrist or around their neck, depending on how they're feeling - gone are the days of carting around your wide-screen in a wheel barrow.

You'll be able to grab the item for around 200 dollars. Surely a small price to pay for being able to watch telly on the bog.
