USB hamster powered by typing speed

What goes around comes around
Tue Oct 03 2006, 08:18
A GADGET maker has decided that the world needs a toy hamster running around a wheel which is powered off from a computer's USB chord.

According to iwantoneofthose.com, which is flogging the gadget, the hamster moves around on its wheel whenever you start typing. If you type fast, it goes like the clappers.

Apparently when it tested the gadget it sent shrieks of laughter around the office.

"It is the ultimate parody of modern society," the advertisment chirps.

alt='hammy'Only in that it simulates the depressing fact that every time you work you are going around in pointless circles. Of course the cute little furry hamster doesn't die, because it never lived, but then again it never escapes the wheel either. Buddha had some views on this sot of thing apparently.

The reviewer felt the need to warn readers that the hamster was not real and the USB gadget was not suitable for your pet hamster.
