AMD fellow gets better fellow job

Fellow my leader
Monday, 26 November 2007, 08:25

A MAN who already was an AMD senior fellow has climbed up the greasy fellow pole to become a corporate fellow at AMD.

Phil Rogers worked at ATI before it was borged by AMD and his promotion to corporate fellow means he will continue developing and working on software.

As a senior rather than a corporate fellow, Rogers worked on how hardware and software worked with each other.

He has worked on ATI Radeon graphics chips since 2000 and will work on its " Fusion" technology.

Naturally, because this is a press release, there has to be a meaningless quote, and this is it.

"Software development is a critical tool that AMD uses to create platform level solutions to enhance our end user experience."

PR gobbledygook. ยต
