Tuesday, 20 March 2007, 11:26
FUTUREMARK, THE OUTFIT behind the 3DMark and PCMark benchmarks signed a contract with Alliance Digital, a company that specialises in business development, sales and support services. Most importantly - it's a Chinese-speaking company in China.

Essentiaally the deal brings Futuremark's Handheld Benchmark Development Program to China. µ

The alliance is to establish a line whereby Chinese cellphone manufacturers can develop products, checking their compatibility with benchmarks such as VGMark 1.0, SimulationMark ES 2.0, 3DMarkMobile ES 1.1, 3DMarkMobile ES 2.0, SPMark Java JSR 184 or for Symbian OS 9. µ
