INQ journo ensnarled in wiles of Taiwanese "playboy" harpies

Computex 007 It's hard work on the coal face, you know

ENERMAX IS one of the more respected power supply names in Taiwan, focused big time on the field. It also seems to be focused on interesting parties - the one thrown in this evening in the cavernous basement of World's Tallest (and, should we say, oddest looking) Building, the Taipei 101.

Without getting too crowded, the Mint bar, with a beautiful open view of a food court and a Singaporean Jason's Supermarket, accomodated the guests, including all five The INQ hacks, Enermax VIPs, live band, pretty decent food and, yes,a very pretty eight Playboy Bunnies, clad in the standard power supply assembly line uniforms - bunny mini-dresses and high heels, with fish net stockings in between.

Due to the well-known inborn curvature design qualities of Far Eastern ladies, the whole eight node cluster", to use supercomputing lingo, looked very well balanced, to put it this way.

alt='theoxxx'Since we're talking about Enermax here, looks like the power supply giant supplied enough power to the Bunnies to make them, well, Energizer Bunnies. Our own Theo, being by far the youngest of the gang, couldn't resist testing the performance and reliability of the Bunnies right on the spot. Unfortunately, due to the privacy problems, the interconnect and input/output performance, especially the bandwidth, couldn't be tested at this facility by our well known Croatian reviewer.

The - intentionally blurred for, again, privacy - photos of his Bunny "live benchmark testing" are right here on this page. µ
