THE MOBO MOUNTAIN has grown some today. Wibble on round to Tech Report for a scan of ABIT'S MAX BD7II-RAID, based on Intel's new 845E chipset for the Pentium 4 processor. The 845E boasts support for a 533MHz (quad-pumped) system bus and DDR266 memory, but Abit, as always, has a few extra tricks up its sleeve, they say, here.

The Vipers cast an beady eye over MSI's K7D Master-L Mainboard Dual MP at Viperlair, over here. "Is building an SMP capable system worth all of the cash?" they ask.

MBReview have posted a review of Samsung's new 120GB SV1204H hard drive, which features dual 60GB platters. The drive comes along with a 2MB cache, and runs at a speed of 5400 RPM. Here's the review.

OCworkbench has what they say is an exclusive review of Shuttle's AS45GTR SiS648 chipset mainboard. It has S-ATA, USB2.0, IEEE1394, 8x AGP, 6 Ch Audio, ATA-133 RAID (HPT372), AGP Pro Slot and supports unofficial DDR400. Click here.

www.Au-Ja.de tell us they've just finished a few reviews. Here comes the list, but be prepared to paste into a German translator.

Here's a CFI Mini Barebone System CF-S868.

Here a look at Asus' P4S533 (SiS 645DX) inexpensive P4 mainboard.

Here's another Asus mobo, the P4B533-E (Intel i845E).

And here is a look at MSI's 845E MAX2-BLR (Intel i845E) board.

And overclockers may want to sneak a peak at the Thermaltake Volcano 9 HSF cooler over at Tweaktown here. µ
