Compaq forced to recall 1.4 million adaptors

Potential fire hazard

ALTHOUGH IT SAYS IT HAS ONLY seen five instances of the problem, Compaq is recalling 1.4 million AC adaptors for its Armada range of notebooks.

We always thought Armada was a name tempting fate.
