Microsoft debuts Titanium beta

That's Exchange 2003 from now on...
Mon Jan 06 2003, 11:04
MICROSOFT HAS MADE the beta version of Exchange 2003, formerly code-named Titanium, available for download.

Scheduled to be released in the middle of this year, Exchange 2003 offers messaging and "collaboration" between servers running on Windows .NET Server 2003 and Windows 2000 Server SP3 or later.

The new version of Exchange works together with Microsoft Outlook 11 to "provide greater flexibility for remote workers to manage their communications from outside the confines of the company firewall", Microsoft reckons.

With the beta release the company wants to integrate Outlook Web Access into Outlook to give the whole caboodle a look and feel for the common man.

The beta is available for download for registered beta testers or you can sign up to receive the beta on CD. For more information, go here. µ
