HKEPC has some exclusive slides on a possible collaboration between XGI and SIS. on its forthcoming integrated chipset, the 770, scheduled for realease early next year. HKEPC argues that a DirectX 9 part will be necessary for Vista. Current SIS integrated parts are DirectX 7 compatible only. ULI might also collaborate with XGI for the same reason with the former looking to displace VIA and SIS as the second best choice after Nvidia. Speaking of which... HKPEC also has the photo of the C51G-M from ECS which is built around the first Integrated Chipset from Nvidia since the nForce2 and it apparently features the 6150.

Gognet reviews the Antec True Control II 550. power supply in its own particular way. Changes from the original TC 1 include one fan instead of two - more silent than its predecessor and the absence of external molex connector. The front control panel is cute especially if you fancy glowing lights at night.

German TweakPC.de, on the other hand, chose to review the Titan 550. from the same manufacturer as above. One thing that surprised me was the number of IOs in the front of the casing; you do get Antec's own Truepower 550w PSU thrown which makes it a superior, if not, one of the best all rounder casings out there.

VR-zone was lucky to attend the launch party of the new top end Razer mouse and they now test the new Copperhead gaming mouse.. In this short review, you get to see loads of shots as well as an overview of some of its features like that onboard memory and a pulsating logo. The reviewer loves it to bits.

MGE is not known for making cases; in fact, some of you might mistake it for that French UPS manufacturer. In fact, in the US, the cases are gaining more exposure. Extremetech reviews the Titanium model. which looks like a very posh silver casing. With a huge space inside, five fans, a good looking fan and loads of LEDS, it might just be your next casing.

Xbitlabs checks the latest DDR2 SDRAM. for overclocking fans. Three modules - from Corsair, Mushkin and OCZ are selected for their ability to go beyond the famed 1GHz barrier. DDR2 took its time to mature - which is understandable and now manufacturers have learnt how to get those parts to run proficiently at very high speeds with low timings. As for the results of the benchmarks, they are too tight to be significant. µ

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
