INSPECTOR LE KNACKEUR of the Paris Yard has arrested 22 people, mostly teens, across France in connection with a hacking investigation.

According to AP, the arrests follow a probe in the eastern city of Dijon in February. More than 30 French and foreign companies complained that they had a bad case of hackers and coppers tracked down the source.

At this point le plod are not ruling out economic espionage as the motivation for the attack. However since many of the suspects are young, with one only 13 years old, they might have only been doing it "for LOLs".

The arrests took place in Paris, and southern and central France. µ

Prison isnt the answer

The company's must have not invested to much money in software security to start with if they were getting jerked around by a bunch of teenage hackers and if put in jail these kids could go bad for the rest of their lives, whilst mediation would provide the best outcome for both partys

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.
