IBM stealth launches beauteous monitor

At a price tag to match

THE PR ENGINE AT Big Blue has been coughing a little recently - IBM having forgotten to tell the world+dog that Lou Gerstner has now become Sir Lou Gerstner.

And here's another thing IBM forgot to tell us about. Over at its site, it has stealth launched the T220, a beautiful 22.2-inch TFT monitor.

It also has a beautiful price tag of $21,999 ($22,000) to match, or 36 easy monthly payments of $778.

Big Blue bundles a PCI graphics card with the beast but at this price maybe it should bundle a Ford Mondeo and a scooter too.

If your credit card can afford it, you can add it to your cart here. µ

INQblot 001 The INQ uses the phrase "cough" because in the good old days, an IBM PR used to gently indicate assent by coughing slightly in the background when a story we'd written was correct and embarrassing... These days, no-one coughs any more.
