Badaxe 2 falls to Bonetrail

Three new Intel mobos
Saturday, 28 October 2006, 10:39
A BUNCH OF new mobo names to tell you about, from top to bottom. They will arrive next year.

Atthe top, where the geeks frolic, comes Bonetrail, the successor to Badaxe 2. It combines the power of the X38 chipset with the ICH9DH south bridge, and comes on the scene in the third quarter of 2007.

At the bottom, you have Coconut Creek, a µATX 945GC with ICH7 and Cash Canyon, the same as Coconut but with a 945GZ replacing the GC. These will be out in early 2007.

New from top to bottom at Intel, or at least top and bottom. Aren't we all excited? µ
