Is Verizon blocking foreign mail? Part II

Not from theinquirer.net, it ain't

SO IS VERIZON blocking mail from outside the US? While a simple test readers helped with from domain name inquirer.net showed earlier this week that we weren't blocked, it does appear some folk are still experiencing problems.

A symptom appears to be that people who send you emails from outside the US at a Verizon address have their messages sucked into a cyber back passage of some kind. Probably the best place to view the complaints is at this web page, which even appears to have a couple of Verizonians trying to help out bereft users who have lost contact not only with their girlfriends and boyfriends, but sometimes also with their corporations.

One of the best responses on this board is a letter that appears to be from someone who works for Verizon and insists tech support is being kept in the dark - which would certainly explain why so many end users are livid, incandescent and every shade of puce.

The best comment in this comment is for people to email security@verizon.net and make their position clear. Because, it appears, Verizon will take no notice unless people complain. A lot. Verizon email account holders need not drop us a line. We've proved to our own satisfaction that theinquirer.net is on the "approved list", if there is such a list, that is. µ
