Uses P2P software, users can share
Thu Oct 09 2003, 12:48
AN ARTICLE at the Wired web site says that a small but perfectly formed US label will use peer to peer sharing to distribute music online.

The report said that Magnatune will let people try out music before they buy it, and when they do buy, will give 50% of the proceeds to the artists>

Wired said that the music - it has 50 artists signed - comes through streaming MP3 feeds and Shoutcast radio stations.

People are allowed to share, download and mix songs just as much as they want.
