Dealers stage strike against Microsoft

Up in arms and incandescent

RESELLERS in Gujarat went on strike against Microsoft after the Vole issued six Surat firms with anti-piracy notices.

DQ Channels reported that Microsoft organised a sting operation revealing that pirated versions of its operating system were being installed on PCs.

Microsoft fined the resellers two lakh rupees, but according to the wire this has caused Gujarat resellers to boycott the firm.

Mind you, if the dealers are installing pirated copies of Microsoft software, a boycott isn't going to make much difference, is it? µ
