Silver has a cloudy lining
Wed Oct 19 2005, 15:46
TROUBLED firm Kodak said it turned in a $1.029 billion loss for its third quarter, of which $900 million was attributed to its re-structuring worldwide as a one time tax charge.

But it was upbeat about its future prospects in the business because its revenues from digital products exceeded its traditional revenues, said CEO Antonio Perez.

Sales were $3.553 billion, up five per cent from its sales in the equivalent quarter last year, with digital revenues amounting to $1.888 billion, and "traditional" revenues $1.661 billion, down 20 per cent from last year's equivalent quarter. ยต
