The SLI connector was interesting because it was the first ribbon cable bridge I had seen in real world use, and it looked like this.

The other nice looking board they had was an NF4 based motherboard called the A8N-SLI PREMIUM. It's claim to fame was a heat pipe from the northbridge to a radiator venting to the rear just above the keyboard ports. While this is just a picture of the board itself, there was one running in SLI mode in another area of the Asus booth.µ
