I can't believe you gits. It's bad enough your keeping up with this bloody techno-babble, but BLOODY MORSE CODE! and some other babbly stuff, neither with a translator link. When will you people get a life? And Larrison, you're no help okay. No matter what we say you keep going back to computers. You got a good Simpson thing going, stick with that. And as for the rest of you, you should be ashamed of yourself. For the love of Jeff, will you people stop it?

Forum hosting Resurrected by our glorious leader earlier in the week, started with a bit of a ramble, and unfortunately got back on topic. Mr. G played a bit of the Pointy haired boss, issuing orders, and asking about progress. The total geekiness of some of our members (Flashy and G) was revealed. They find pleasure from running scripts. Even Book boy isn't that bad. After that it was all SQL, GUI, tables. All taking the db and 'Query analyzing' the TOAD, while setting type='U' best to edit in emacs while setting up the atm variables. But don't bother with the GUI because blah blah, git speak techno babble, stupid acronyms and buzzwords. Stupid geeks. Can't wait till Nerds come back in season.

Wanted: Delphi Archive Spider... Well at least this thread got pulled off topic. Unfortunately to an even worse topic than techno-crap, politics. The Striped Arsed Badger was responsible of course, and he even did it intentionally. It would have faded into obscurity had it not been for that damn Larrison again. If he aint talking boring computer crap he's going on about boring political crap. Unfortunately I got involved too, thanks do that damn Promethane. It all started when KrAP poked Larry, then promethane started talking rolling blackouts, which got me involved, then it just turned into a slagfest. Welshie tried to lighten it up, and some of us were willing to go that route, but sadly the pokers and prodders kept the hotheads going. There was a slight sub thread where we tried to determine if a quote came from Twain or Disraeli. Only this pedantic lot would even know there was something to argue about here. The SAB did another non-sequitor into movies, anyone get the feeling he's playing us like a fiddle. The politics/energy bit came back to life, bit of tedious for a day and a half or so. DISCO SUCKS! Thankfully we moved on to food at some point. Led for a nice little discussion about steaks and such. Much more pleasant all around. Of course it had to turn into one of the more loathsome topics around here, fish puns……….. Was almost pleasant when the thread returned on topic.

Seti team The Evil Doktor renewed the thread with a bit of bragging. You know it's not hard to have a collection of high-powered boxen, when everyone and their brother ships it out for free to you. Basically a little dwaddle about the Seti members. Particularly a "Mike Baker" there was lots of gossip and such (if you can call it that), but no one ever gave a good accounting of who he was, nor why they were talking about him. Bout Thursday Frnht performed one of his Infamous Left field triple half sequitors, into online banking. Basically everyone said they hated their bank, or "my bank doesn't suck as bad as all the sousers I was with before." Other than a bit more larking about, there was some wistful thought of the captivating Lucy. We have yet to have a reliable sighting though.

T'o'P turns blue... That place that shall not be mentioned was the topic of conversation. Considering their forum has atrophied to the point that a search of threads in the last 7 days turns up 4 threads. Anyways, since all the suspects are the same, they feel this is the place to discuss it. The main discussion started out talking about the color scheme (we are a lazy boring lot after all). When that lost interest there was a short dialogue of kids construction toys. Late in the week Cupid posted an ad for a sys admin for Canada. I reckon since the Pomme de terre, or whatever they call their president up there, got a computer they need someone to show him what all the buttons are for. After I performed a little Segue, everyone felt it necessary to criticize my use of the Queens English.

Mobos, 133/266/utter confusion I frigging give up. DDR, SDRAM, KT266, PC1333, SDR, BIOS-XP, Abit, AMR toddley doodly doo. Mother is I bored. Most interesting thing in this thread was when Kenny said Shite. I do have to say I think the US contingent is getting stiffed with a complete lack of spinolaed items.

Interesting cgi stuff repository ? Interesting? That will be the day. "finally got Perl, SSL and a secure anonymising CGI-proxy successfully running on the OOFG server" aw shut up ya geek. "Oh and anyone have any idea how to get MOD_PERL running on Apache 1.3.23 on Windows 2K ?" I'm sure if I rectal insert the damn thing on ya it'll work a fair dinkum. Though I will say. Somewhere along the line someone noticed that the word filtering wasn't working quite as advertised. Lead to a rather off-color time. The text of which could never be read without it sounding like a computer with a key stock (i.e. bleep beep beepity bleep bleep beep)

Buying a New PC Hey Flashy, buy a PC already, so we can stop talking about it, will ya, you damn loon. And what's with the damn morse code. For Jeff's sake. And just guess who started it. That bloody book boy. He's probably working on a font consisting of semaphore flags as we speak.

I'd rail on, but my blood pressure alarm is going of constantly now. And judging by the pink hue my monitor has taken I've blown a blood vessel or two. Why is it Mrs. Bertie only posts in Bloody word association? And where are the other ladies? Seems only SGF posts anymore, and then only when someone asks some Unix geek question. This week marked the return of the MYHIENEY; guess the new GF aint working out as hoped.

The aliens say us humans actually aren't near as tall as we think we are. It's possible. After all, we're the only beings on the planet that think things are important enough to 'measure' and fight over.
