A bargain.....
Thursday, 18 January 2007, 15:26
MARKET RESEARCH firm iSuppli reckons that when Apple starts selling its iPhone, it will cream punters to the tune of a 50% gross margin.

The firm bases its projections on the bill of materials (BOM) for the iPhone, which it reckons will cost Apple about $250 to make for the 4GB version.

And the 8GB model is set to make the same amount of dosh if the beasts sell half as well as Apple hopes.
