Radeon HD hits Blighty

"Only" 220 quid, plus VAT

IT SEEMS THAT AMD's Radeon HD 2900XT is to hit the shops this week. You can order yours today in Blighty, at least on Scan Computers' website.

A reader told us that he was expecting a different price for than Radeon HD 2900XT than the one that he found on-line. A link to Scan Computers showed us that the price of the card starts at £220.10 without VAT, meaning that the convertyed price with VAT exceeds 500 US dollars.

As you can see, the board is placed in the very same price bracket as the GeForce 8800GTS 640MB. µ
