Dell 'iPod slayer' slain by iPod

DELL'S CFO Jim Schneider has sheepishly admitted that it has been walked all over by Apple in the digital music market.

This is despite the company promising it had an iPod killer with promotions that involved $100 rebates if you swapped your eyePod for one of Dell's machines.

Schneideraid that his company is far behind Apple in the digital music market and was not competing very well. He said that Apple has come out with a nice product and it's really turned their company around.
