Pretend you're playing golf with wireless golf club

FLEDGLING PERIPHERAL and gaming company In2Games is aiming to emulate the success of the Wii's motion sensor games with a new line of games and USB controllers which will sport motion-sensor functionality.

The new line-up, which is set to be showed off at the Leipzig Gaming Convention according to NeoSeeker.com, will feature games such as Realplay Tennis, Realplay Golf, Realplay Racing and Realplay Bowling, all of which will come packing a specifically themed controller - golf clubs and the like.

All of the controllers will be running the GameTrak Version 2 wireless sensing device which, luck would have it, will have to be purchased seperately for about $40. The first game set to hit the shelves will be Realplay Golf, making its debut on the 26th of this month. Others should be out by Crimbo.

Whether the controllers and games will prove to be as fun as similar Wii counterparts remains to be seen, but huddling around a PC as opposed to a television doesn't quite capture the party atmosphere that has made the Wii a big hit so far.
