STORAGE FIRM Iomega said it has started shipping a redesigned family of external hard drives which include three interfaces - USB 2.0, Firewire 400 and Firewire 800.

The drives have capacities between 160GB to 400GB and are stackable. The drives also come with a Kensington lock, and can be switched off, as well as being bundled with backup and disaster recovery software.

The 160GB drive costs $200, the 250GB drive $279 and the 400GB $429, Iomega said. µ
