Nike bags iPod connection

NIKE AND APPLE are continuing their love in with a backpack that can control an iPod.

If you're wondering what to get Junior for Christmas, or if you are Junior, the C.O.R.E. audio iPod backpack, seen at Tech Digest, here, might be worth considering. It's padded to accommodate a laptop, it's not particularly ugly and - a rarity among computer bags - it doesn't tell thieves what valuable commodities it contains.

Nike recently shipped trainers that connect to iPods, Levi's offered jeans with an iPod-friendly pocket, and Thomas Pink gave the world a shirt with similar qualities.

And rest assured, we Brits are not such fuddy-duddies that we would sneer at the prospect of a little digitised Walton or Vaughan Williams in a custom-made accessory. Indeed, the Dunhill snuff box and walking cane with iPod connections are high on our shopping lists for this forthcoming season of goodwill to all men. µ
