WindowsXP site transferred back to Microsoft

No millions involved, says Bink

STEVEN BINK, who ran the windowsxp.nu site, said that he had transferred that domain name back to Microsoft.

We reported in December that he had been asked by Dutch lawyers representing the Vole to hand over the windowsxp.nu site.

A notice on his new site, which can be found here, said that he reached an agreement with Microsoft last Friday.

He says in a note on his new site that Microsoft only wanted the domain name, and will provide support for his new site, rather than extracting millions of dollars.
