Nvidia NV35 specifications revealed

Hardware roundup
Wed Apr 16 2003, 00:51
THERE'S A FULL set of Nvidia NV35 specs in a post on NV News. The information is spookily similar to what our own John Smith wrote a few weeks ago.

Shawn over at 3D Velocity has got himself a Chaintech Zenith 7NJS. It's an Nforce 2 board with lots of nice cables, a nice price and pretty darned good performance.

It has a fancy bezel and a fancy price to match. But the Sony DRU-500AX DVD+/-RW is worth it according to GamePC.

In a nice change from the usual hard drive naming schemes of incomprehensible strings of numbers and letters, the Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 is fairly memorable. It's a 160GB SATA drive and VR-Zone likes it enough to give it an Editor's Choice gong.

Some will boo and hiss, others will sing praises. Hardware Accelerated interviews Michael Ching from Rambus. It makes for interesting reading.

Dean at 3DXtreme thinks it's just a novelty but he's obviously never had to work on a PC in the dark at a gig or backstage. If you do that on a regular basis you'll want this bit of kit big style. It's a small laptop style keyboard with a backlight so that you can see what keys you're pressing in the dark.

You might have missed the fanfare and fiasco yesterday over the Canterwood. Not likely, given the noise that was being made, but possible. Sudhian had a play with one too.

Lastly, for our German readers, there's a Canterwood review for them too. It's over at Hard Tecs 4U. ยต
