Cops allowed to monitor journalists' phone calls

THERE'S A REPORT on faz.net which said the Federal Constitutional Court in Germany has recently granted permission to German courts to eavesdrop on journalists' calls.

You can read that report here. It says that finding serious criminals outweighs press freedoms.

But we can imagine what the logs would be like if the British cops listened in to the INQ DUDES' phone conversations.
