Has Dell's Axim got a big Microsoft problemo?

A NUMBER OF THREADS on a number of forums suggest that Dell's PDA - the Axim - might have a bit of a problem with Windows Mobile 2003.

According to reports on the Axim communities and Dell community sites, the combination of a Dell Axim and Windows Mobile 2003 can cause certain problems.

Those include skipping frames in WIndows Media, slow response on startup, and a number of other problems.

It also appears that Dell has now decided to pull an upgrade to Windows Mobile 2003 that it was planning.

The threads are many and varied, but here's a selection below, although Dell doesn't appear to be formally responding to the complaints. We'd be happy to hear from Dell. µ
