JUST IN CASE YOU missed it, here's a post at HardOCP giving some details of upcoming Hammers. "AMD will announce the 2400+ (1.933GHz) and 2600+ (2.066GHz) by the end of September, " they say. And, "In October, Hammer (Opteron) at >3000+ will be shown at a major trade show (still slated to ship LATE this year or January 2003 in the server versions." That's >3000+ in AMD-speak, you notice. Wibble away.

Back in the world of today's products, AMDZone casts a carefull eye over the new ATI IGP 320 mobile Athlon integrated video chipset used in the new Compaq Presario 900 laptop. That's over here.
