AMD offers a virtual IT experience

CHIP FIRM AMD is offering a web site where you can figure out what server virtualisation or power is all about, it reckons.

It's cooperated with Accenture, CDW, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle and Sun - a virtual roll call of firms with huge facilities in Bangalore.

AMD claims it's a revolution. It mirrors the physical world, says Henri "I baffled Tom Foremski" Richard.

It's here, and rather baffling. Must have cost a fortune. Switch off your sound if you're in a cubicle. Because Marty Seyer shouts a bit and gets terribly overexcited. µ
