MECHWARRIOR game designer Eric Peterson has put an online appeal for cash to help him get a liver transplant.

Peterson has a liver and blood disorder that causes him to suffer from hepatitis, arthritis, diabetes and chronic fatigue syndrome. The only real long term cure is a transplant.

His work has been seen in the Mechwarrior computer game engine, which was used for virtually all of the Mechwarrior II games.

Recently he has coded a 3d terrain rendering program called Planet-E and is asking for those who download it to donate five dollars.

According to his website here, Eric can be contacted here. µ
