Al Gore reckons pop stars will save the earth

Call to ban farts from the infohighway
Tue Jul 03 2007, 12:37
WE ARE BEING graced in Blighty by an American politician apparently called Al Gore, who has something to do with Apple, and who apparently thinks the series of "Live Earth" concerts are our last chance to save the planet.

He was interviewed by hacks on the British Broadcast Corporation's "Today" programme, er, today.

We don't know if Al smokes cigarettes, but presumably he drives, or is driven, so we wonder if he would mind extinguishing that combustion engine.

Because as far as we are aware petrol engines need a spark, and we believe that our government thinks farts are dangerous and might even ban them for being noxious. µ
