Microsoft drops antitrust appeal

Vole keeps schtum in sullen silence
Tue Oct 16 2007, 15:13

SOFTWARE MEGAVOLE Microsoft has decided it won't bother appealing against a South Korean antitrust decision.

The Vole was stung with a $35 million fine last year for unfair practices by bundling Windows Media Player and Windows Messenger.

It's just going to bite the bullet rather than squeak about the unfairness of it all. µ

Bite the bullet

That fine is a joke and M$ knows it, hence they cannot be bothered to contest it.
They would have probably paid close to that amount in lawyer fees, employees missing days to appear in court & general air bussing of relevant personnel.
