Easy DVD follows Easymobile

STELIOS' EASYGROUP HAS decided to follow up on the launch of its virtual mobile phone company, Easymobile, with an online DVD rental service. At £1.99 per rental, Easycinema is around £1.50 cheaper than rival services.

The company claims that it has more titles (25,000) and also doesn't charge penalties for failure to return the titles quickly. Effectively you have 90 days to return a title and postage is free too.

The new Easycinema service is actually powered by Video island and Stelios has decided to host DVD rentals on the existing Easycinema site as an alternative to turning up to the cinema screens he currently operates in Milton Keynes.

For readers who haven't visited the Easymobile site, pricing is now available. Sending texts will cost five pence and voice calls are 15 pence per minute. That's to any network in the UK. Better still, until June 2005, subscribers will only have to pay 3 pence per SMS and 9 pence per minute. µ
