ASUS MIGHT BE the first company to ship Nforce 4 SLI motherboards. It has to be careful as Gigabyte is right behind its back. Asus was happy to show of its A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard powered with two 6600 GT cards at one of the Japanese hardware stores, recently.

Asus decided to show this marchitecture to Japanese customers in the dawn of its availability and it demonstrated machine and showed a 3Dmark05 score. With two 6600GT cards it scored 5481 marks. Not bad for two mainstream cards.

The same shop is demonstrating the Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI motherboard. It demonstrated Medal of Honor: The Pacific Assault game and it said that the board should be available next week.

No one knows the price of these motherboards [yes we do, Fudo. About $155 for users. Ed.], but Nvidia said that in the US these should cost less than $200. In Japan things always end up more expensive but at least they got them first.

If your Japanese is not good you can find a Google English version here. µ
