OCworkbench has two reviews, the first one is the Corsair TWIN2X1024-4300C3Pro DDR2-538 memory modules featuring the now famous XMS2 heatsink coupled with the 24 activity LED. These DDR-2 memory modules should be the perfect pair for your overclocked i9x5 rig. The second one is another apparition of the new ATI RX480 board, this time, it came from Jetway as the A210PDAG and is coupled with the ULI M1573 chipset which offers Azalia and NCQ compatibility. Good overclocker but shame on distribution.
Cooltechnews checks the Altec Lansing inMotion IM4 portable audio system which seems like the ideal companion for your newly acquired iPod or similar. It has a 4W RMS specs plus the MaXXbass technology which brings deerper sound. As a bonus, you also get two inputs and 18 hours of continuous use out of AA batteries. Not bad at all.
The Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 SATA NCQ Hard disk drive is reviewed at Bjorn3D, the 400GB - 372 after formatting, to be more precise - drive comes with a five-year warranty, NCQ compatibility, low-noise, and blazing single and RAID versions. It is your ideal large capacity drive they rekcon. Bjorn wonders where a 16MB SATA II version is.
Phoronix has a test of the Thermaltake Beetle CL-P0086. If you want to know why it is called Beetle, then have a look at the photos which reveal a pink component akin to a bicycle lamp. It is compatible with most consumer CPUs. When tested against the SLK947U, there was a real difference - 7 degrees. A bit on the expensive side though.
Up against it, at PCperspective, the boys review a Coolermaster Aquamate Mini R120 Water cooling unit. A self contained larger version of their existing waterblock. It comes preassembled and with an integrated DC pump, a radiator and a fan. Excellent cooler at a good price.
Never heard of the JAHT brand? Me neither. A trio of components tipped up on Techniz - a SuperG 108MBps WAP, Wireless PCI adapter and a Cardbus adapter. Performance is on par with an hypothetical 60Mbps. They transferred a 700MB file in 170 seconds. µ
