Parents get upset at Wii attachment

Wii Shoots higher up the wall

THE 'Parental Guidance' department of NY Com has got its knickers in a twist over the latest attachment for the Wii which the writer believes will end civilisation as we know it.

The Gun Remote which can be seen here looks as much like a realistic gun as a banana does, or a lump of wood. However that has not stopped the column thundering about it in a somewhat silly way.

Most parents the magazine spoke to thought it a "bone-headed idea". The quotes provided include such gems as it will train children to learn to aim and shoot. That will, of course lead to kids killing kids.

A "very concerned grandparent" wrote that Nintendo should enclose an application to the NRA in every box as well.

All this would be fine reactionary Daily Mail stuff if the Nintendo Gun controller looked like a gun. It doesn't. µ
