There on the hill was a lonely goatherd

THE ARBITRAGE SECTION of the weekend edition of the Wall Street Journal has compared the price of a Sony Cyber Shot digital camera in eight cities worldwide.

The prices, collected by the WSJ, include taxes, have been averaged out and converted into €uro and we don't quite know how Sony thinks it can get away with this. Presumably because it can.

Sony Model DSC-T10
City Price
Tokyo €237
Hong Kong €250
New York €259
Frankfurt €339
London €357
Paris €360
Brussels €399
Rome €399

Thanks to the Wall Street Journal for alerting us. Next thing you know, Sony will be doing really crazy things like introducing rootkits, slaughtering goats, and watching notebooks catch fire. µ
