SIS backs AMD AM2 socket

CHIPSET FIRM Silicon Integrated Systems (SIS) has got excited about AMD's move to a spanking new socket.

It said it is readying a whole heap of products to support Socket AM2.

It is extending support for socket AM2 across its desktop and notebook chipsets - that family includes the 756, the 761GX, the 760 and the 760GX. ยต
