HAVING HAD A chat will some notebook makers around the corner, Taiwanese news site Digitimes reckons Intel will soon launch 15 new 45nm notebook chips for its upcoming mobile platform, Montevina.
The chip giant released its first 45nm mobile chips
at
CES
but these were for the Satan Rosa platform. Montevina is sheduled for May or
June.
The new chips will offer a significant breadth of choice for users, it seems, ranging from small and powerul to even smaller but less powerful.
Digitimes posts what it reckons are details of the full range here.
Intel always refuses to discuss unannounced products even within minutes of their launch, so we didn't bother ringing it up for a comment. µ
