Eee PC may get 10-inch boost

THE EEE PC has split opinion over its short existence but a frequent criticism has been that its screen is just too darned small. Well, the word from Taiwan is that Asus is set to fix that.
Digitimes reports that the next Eee PC will support 8, 9 and 10-inch panels.
The nine-incher, no jokes please, will also support touch, says the report, here. ยต

Just got the ruler out. A 10 inch screen would make for a bigger eee-pc footprint. The panel with the screen is just over 10 inches across diagonally already. I can't see there being enough room.

A 9 inch screen looks like it would fit without any footprint size change.
I touch my 9 inch panel also :3
