LCD monitor at Gitex has 10ms response time

ALTHOUGH OUR Bosnian correspondent Fudo has ratcheted up yet another country that won't admit him - he was turned back on his way to Gitex in the UAE last Saturday - one of our readers, Saad, has come to the rescue with some shots of the expo.

Perhaps the most interesting of this bunch, reproduced with his permission, is an Iiyama 17-inch LCD monitor which manages to achieve a 10ms response time.

Saad also points us to the Dubai Internet City shot, which he says deploys at least 84 AMD 64 Acer Ferrari notebooks.

And we see that the terrible idea Intel had of making people wear LCD monitors above their heads has spread to the UAE now.
