If everything goes well for ATI, this will be the last high end Crossfire edition card as the R600 has everything it needs to pair two cards without any necessity for a Crossfire card.
The card will retail for $449 in the US and will be sold for some 409 in European retail, but will display a tendency to fall below 400.
We can now confirm that the cards will be ready for the 23rd of August but as the clock speed stays the same, don't expect any miraculous performance increase. We've already written about it here.
