ELECTRONICS SELLER Best Buy will open its second Chinese store sited in Shanghai's Zhongshan Park on August 26, the US computer and gadget retailer announced today.

The company had opened its first store in China in Shanghai's Xujiahui district at the end of 2006, but it apparently encountered some delays in getting all the paperwork for its second store filed and approved by both provincial and central government ministries.

Best Buy is also planning for three more stores in the Shanghai area, at the Super Brand Mall in Lujiazui, Pudong, at Xinzhuang subway station and in Shanghai Commercial City. ยต
